I'm having some issues trying to get my new rig to run stable overclocked. :fou:
I've seen other people with same mobo / cpu clock 3.2 - 3.6ghz but I cannot get anywhere near what they can stable, so I'm thinking its my ram settings / voltage that seems to be the issue.

If anyone could help me, would be most appreciated. I've tried adding extra voltage to the CPU / RAM & FSB and can get it to boot to windows @ 400x9 and setting the memory to 1:1 ratio, but it locks up as soon as i put load on it, i.e Everest / 3DMark06

Below is the settings out of the bios (I've used CTRL + F1 to access the hidden options)

Just had a quick peruse. As a start try:

PCI Express Frequency - Locked or manual @ 100Mhz
Memory Frequency - 667/800 or leave it at 1066 and raise DDR2 voltage 0.2v over STD.

I 'think' CPU voltage has to be around 1.5v to get it at 3.6.

This'll be quite interesting for me because i'm considering a x38 mobo with a Q6600 in the not so distant future.

Cheers, i'll try that tonight....

I had the cpu voltage set to around 1.47 and DDR2 OverVoltage Control to +.40v which should have given at least 2.2v on the ram, but might have to go higher to reach to 2.3v required
