Hello everyone, I'm new here.
The problem that I am posed with is that I recently built myself a new PC and in order to save a few bucks was to use some of the devices in my Dell Dimension 4550 like the video card, drives and the Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound, card didn't work in new PC(but works in the Dell), upon research I found that, that particular card is re-configured by Dell for use within their system(why only that card). My question is, if Dell re-configured it to work only in a Dell how do I un-configured(is this a word :pt1cable: ), I'm not worried about voiding any warranty since the warranty ran out on the Dell 2 years ago  .
TIA

The only configuration "requirement" change is the front panel audio connector for Dell cases.  It should work just as well in any PC so long as you have the correct driver.

Try a different PCI slot and disable the motherboard's onboard sound.
