help 
i went from a x1900 GT that was artifacting to a 8800 GTS 320 mb EVGA model
i reinstalled windows on a new hard drive for a fresh boot and the card is not being recognized ... it is found in the hardware but not when i wanna change resolution it has some sorta VGA save going on
also when i load the drivers i reset and it wont let me get back into windows soon as the windows loading screen is done loading it resets and i have to do last known good configuration

ECS RD 480 a9393 mobo
2 gig of ddr 400 ram
8800 GTS
Windows XP Service Pack 2 fully updated
1 hard drive with just windows install now
Surepower 550W PSU
AMD 4200 X2
