Ok, I know I'm just being a pain in the ass *hides at the back of her
chair* but I guess I just wanted to know how everyone felt about RE
overall, not only RE4. So what's everyone's favourite game out of all RE
games, your favourite character(s), your favourite villan and last your
favourite gun (not allowed to say the inf. rocket launcher or any other
gun that allows you to have inf ammo..it just wouldnt be fair because we
would all say the inf ammo guns would be our favourites right??? haha).
Cheers

My favorite game will probably always be RE2. Not sure why. Maybe it's
the two interwoven storylines. Leon's my favorite character to play.
My favorite villain is Nemesis from RE3, even if he can be a major pain
to go up against. As for a favorite non-infinite weapon...probably the
Colt Python from the original RE1. I just love to watch the zombies'
heads pop when you shoot them. I know, it's just sick and wrong, but I
love watching it.

Well I might as well answer my own question so here I go. Fav RE game is
definitely Code Veronica. Why? I remember when I first played it I
couldn't get off it, my interest in CV went on for so long it was so
awesome to play. My fav character is of course Chris Redfield, apart from
being so cute, you gotta admire his bravery and attitude towards taking
care of Claire in Code Veronica. Fav villan is definitely Alexia Ashford,
abit on the mental side but hey, she rocked!!! Lastly, my fav gun of all
is the Magnum (excluding the Handcannon because I haven't even touched it
yet and bcoz inf guns arent allowed to be mentioned haha!!!). Boy did the
magnum really give those zombies something to be scared of (not that they
had any feelings lol)

Favorite Game: RE2 due to it's immensity, and variety.
Favorite Character: Jill because of her plucky, and somewhat
ironic/sarcastic attitude.
Favorite Villian: Nemesis. Geez it must have taken me 25 attempts
before I finally defeated him at the clocktower courtyard.
Most loathsome puzzle: Those damn scales at the dead facory in RE3.
Favorite Weapon: I guess the shotgun. Can't kill all, but kills most,
and one can usually find sufficinet ammo.
PS: I love to shoot that bastard Nemisis in his face with the inf.
rocket launcher. He has giving me so much past grief that I have become
a bit psychotic in his presense.

Fav Game has got to be RE2, with all it's fun-ness, good flowing
storyline and nice varied characters.
Character has got to be Ada or Wesker. Probably Ada.
Enemy has got to be Wesker or the Hunters - even though they are the
only monster who could kill you with infinite health AND in one
death-blow move (both are the same).
Favorite weapon is of course the quick-reload shotgun from RE3, although
the homing missile thingy in it is kinda cool, it's impractical and I
thought a little slow.

Yeh it is an easy puzzle but i remember the first time i came across it, i
forgot to get the water sample and insert it into the machine, now of
course if you dont have the sample you cant go further hahaha. When I
realized that I needed the sample, I was like "oh my gosh im so dumb
haha".

The original Resident Evil is my all time favourite game. EVER.
I like most of the characters actually, no real favourites. The
original Barry and the remake Richard are characters I liked better
than their alternate counterparts though.
Favourite villain... I'm not a fan of villains but I don't know,
Krauser was pretty bad ass. Does Ada count? She's cool too.
Favourite gun is the Colt Python followed by RE2's custom shotgun.

RE3 is my favourite, once you've mastered the Mercenaries mini game you
can take on *anything*. My 'most likeable' character is Jill Valentine
(I'm with Shinji Mikami on this one). Most hated is Rebecca, in the
RE:make they made here slightly harder, but in the original she seems
to be totally oblivious to all the nasty things going on around here.
Favourite situation - Letting the hunter in RE1 kill Rebecca <grins>
Favourite gun would have to be RE2's custom shotgun. It makes me really
wish that guns IRL could knock down walls with it's power.
Favourite bad guy has to be Wesker, I'm still in shock that they didn't
include him in the first film and get Val Kilmer to play him.
For a favourite enemy I'd have to say either the super lickers (RE2) or
the Hunter Gammas (RE3). Most annoying is the RE:make guy with the
grenades strapped to him. I still fail to see why it still kills you if
you're at the opposite end of a long corridor (Grrrr Capcom).

Yeh I hated the guy with the grenades strapped to him, I use to freak out
badly when I saw him approach me, that ugly sound he makes and that ugly
face ewwww, gives me the chills. I guess the only obvious thing to do
when I saw him was to RUN!!!! Lol

And just how on earth can slashing at him with the knife or using
defence items cause an explosion? That includes head shots with the
shotgun too. Does he have explosives stuffed up his nose or in his
ears??
Richard is fairly easy to avoid though, half the time when he lunges he
misses you. I noticed that he doesn't follow you round the mansion (As
a few people have incorrectly stated) and once you go into the
Guardhouse (Or Residence) you won't see him again.

Yep thats absolutely true, he only follows you around the mansion and that
all really. The other time i encountered him was in the candle room
(where you get 1 half of the musical notes) but i dodged him pretty good
lol.

On my first play through, man did I jump when I turned and ran straight
into into him. Shortly after that, with Jill having wriggled herself
free I made the mistake of firing at him....
By the way, forgot to mention; He doesn't exactly follow you round the
mansion, although there are connected rooms where you can make him
spawn. The landing area that leads out to the dog patio for example,
you can make him spawn downstairs (As if by magic - thanks Capcom), by
going through one of the lower floor doors. Oh, and Richard's just like
every other zombie (That includes the PS RE1 too) - he doesn't like
lunging for you on stairs, but doesn't seem to acid=vomit like all the
others.

Wow! No one has chosen RE4. So, I will. It is, by far, my favourite RE game.
It is actually my favourite game. I love it. I've played it through, twelve
times. I hate all the villians. They all scare me. I guess that's why I like
the series. The one that scares me the most is Verdugo. You can't even take
him down with the hand cannon if he isn't frozen. U3 runs a close second.
Tyrant (from RE remake) is third for sure. The semi-auto rifle fully
upgraded is my favourite weapon. Fire power, accuracy, and quick firing!
Perfection! Did I mention that garradors give me the chills?
