I have had my system acting up for awhile now and I keep getting corruption errors. I go to download Nero Trial and when i try to execute it, it tells me the file is corrupt. I go to download stuff on uTorrent and i get corruption errors too when decompressing the rar archives. I also get problems in Steam for playing CSS it tries to validate game files and then goes to launch the game and crashes. I had terrible problems at Showdownlan 2007 in Indianapolis this past weekend and figured it was hard drive errors i was running raid 0 with 2 80gb sata2 seagate barracuda drives, now i reformatted to one and still same errors. I swapped my buddies ram out for mine and it worked for the lan but i have not had time to try more with other's ram so i ran hot cpu tester pro 4 and i have the logs from it that i was wanting someone to take a look at and see what could be the problem. I am getting memory cells do not match on both cores of the cpu the data is bumped up some values and also i had a quicksort checksums do not match error. On top of other cpu and memory errors it has. Below is my log thus far.

Could be ram. Have you tried running memtest? Also, you didn't list your specs. If it's an nforce mobo and you're using the onboard nic with nvidia's active armor it could be corrupting your downloads. Some versions of active armor didn't work well.

ran memtest 86+ v1.7 for 4 passes and it checked out ok, no errors. running off-board NIC.

Specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
Jetway 939GT4-SLI-G mobo (NForce 4)

Drives arent the problem though
eVGA GeForce 7600 GT PCI-E 16x(also not the problem)

Nothing is overclocked memory timings are set to 2-2-2-6 in bios.

Forgot to note the log shows but i will re-iterate i am running Windows XP Professional SP2 fully patched
