I have xp running on 1 HDD. I have 2 more HDD. can I do raid 0 across all three HDD, without having to reinstall?
Can I shrink the partition on my OS HDD only as big as the OS, then copy the OS over the rest of the HDD in raid 0?
Point is... i want to run raid 0 over my 3 drives. but I cant do it with a fresh install cause I dont have a floppy drive, and even if I did I am using 2 seagates and a WD. and my xp install disk is not even sp1. the 3 HDs are compatible. What are my options?
Depends on what RAID controller you are using. Some mobo RAID controllers can do RAID migration and have Online Capacity Expasion. The Intel southbridges starting with ICH6R have Intel Matrix RAID, and nVidia has MediaShield.

Google "Slipstream XP disc" or "nLite".
In short, add RAID drivers and service packs to your install disc.
Or you could see if your motherboard will allow you to emulate a floppy drive with a thumb drive. Some do and some don't. You could always borrow a floppy drive from someone, i have 3 computers and just keep an old floppy laying around for exactly your type of situation.
