Hello, i currently only have two PC3200 512 MB DDR RAM sticks and i was looking at adding some...
is DDR2 ram compatible with just DDR?

I was looking at this - 1Gb PC-4200 (533MHz) 200-pin SO-DIMM DDR2 RAM.

Was wondering whether i can just plug that in with it?

No it is not...You will need DDR only 400mhz is the faster DDR you can buy i believe. The DDR2 will not physicall fit in a DDR slot
