Hello guys. Just moved from AMD x2 3800+ to Intel dual core e2160 on a p35-ds3r. I have 2 questions:

1- Memory command rate is set at 2t from what the latest cpu-z shows. I can't find any options in the bios to set it to 1t, even when I hit ctrl-f1 to show the hidden settings in the bios. Can memory be run at 1t with a dual core cpu ? I have 2x1gb ddr2 800 Patriot Extreme performance 4-4-4-12.

2- My storage hdd, a seagate 500gb 7200.10, is shown in intel matrix storage utility as sata1. My system hdd, a raid0 array of 2x80gb seagate 7200.9, is shown as sata2 on the same controller.

I've sorted out the hdd problem. There was a tiny jumper that I didn't see when installing limiting the drive to sata1 mode. Took it off and now the drive operates at sata2 speed. But can anyone help me on the memory issue ?

Some info here I don't know.  Scroll down to the pretty pictures.  It looks like the AMD 64 X2 can do it.

Can our boards do it?  Not that I've heard or found.

Found from this search:  Can memory be run at 1t with a dual core cpu
