when i try to start up my computer with dual video cards it only gets as far as the windows loading screen and never takes me to the profile login screen. but then when i take one out (doesn't matter which one) i can log into windows. both cards are the radeon x1600 so i know that they are compatible. do i have to install a driver before i can use both of them at the same time?

Its not something i know a lot about but ill give it a go if you can post a bit more info some of the others that know more may jump in.
What MOBO are you using and how do you have them set up/Powerleads/bridges etc.
Rest of system specs including PSU.
