How do I remove a persons name from a computer and insert my name

Hi, Someone gave me a computer and it still has his name as admin. I want to take his name out and insert my name. Would you please help me? It's driving me crazy!!

Go to the Control Panel and then User Accounts and either change the name or create a new admin account for yourself.
