Hi, this is the first time i own a pci-e card so just a couple of quick questions. I have an A8NVM-CSM motherboard and for the pci-e slot, there is this weird thing at the end. Do i even need to worry about it when i install my 8800 gts? Also, my Ultra 500W vseries http://www.ultraproducts.com/produ [...] ductID=369
meets the minimum requirements and stuff. So all I need to do is plug my pci-express connector into the 8800 gts and it should work right? THank you in advance.

In theory it should work... but it's an Ultra PSU so who knows for how long it will work. If I were you I'd buy a new PSU, not because it won't be able to supply enough power, but to be sure that the PSU won't kill such a nice card like the GTS.
