My friend wants a light gaming pc to play bf2 and cs:s at constant ok framerates. Rather then doing it myself I'm gonna find people on tomshardware with alot of spare time to do it. The absolute capping budget is $1000 no more. The screen has to be widescreen 19" at least. There no overclocking considerations.

What research on other build threads have you done, i.e. what is your starting point of reference?
