I'm looking at getting an antec sonata III case which gets great reviews for being quiet and well built and is pretty cheap. Only trouble is it has a 500W Earthwatts PSU which may be cutting it close for the Q6600 + Radeon 2900pro system I'm looking at building. On paper it can take it but it could be cutting it a bit close.
Is it likely to be fine or are there better solutions for a similar price (only things I'm after is quietness and a case with no doors on the front)
I actually might work if you don't overclock and use Intel's speedstep program. I have the sonata II, but my system doesn't require much juice. I always wait for Fry's closeout deals. This case was $35 after rebate, including shipping.
I keep reading about how cheap this case is in the US. Cheapest I've found it over here is £70 ($140)+ shipping. That's still cheap but nowhere near the bargains I keep seeing advertised over the atlantic
