i'm pretty sure the ps3 doesn't do 1080i just 1080p 720p and standard def

nah it wont, for the ps3 anyway

as youll have to use an HDMI to DVI cable, you have to consider HDCP (copyright junk, google for more info), which that monitor does not have

also the ps3 does support 1080i, but only with component cables
