Hi guys,
Long time lurker, recent member and poster.
I built this computer (1st ever build) from recommendations I saw on this board.

E6750 (@3.2)
Gigabyte P35-DS3L
2 gb GSkill RAM
8800GT 512mb

I did a very simple overclock to 3.2 based on my readings at this site. I have since "poked around" to try to get to 3.4 or adjust my memory settings. This was short lived since I'm happy just getting any overclock on my 1st try. My motherboard emits one short beep and then 4-5 seconds later another beep. Everything is running very smoothly (all night 2x Prime95) and 13k on 3dmark06. My manual says 2 beeps (if this really is 2 beeps) means "CMOS setting error".

Do I need to clear my CMOS even though everything is running smoothly?

Unplug the power cord, wait a few seconds, and put the jumper across the pins to reset the CMOS. Also please provide a little more detail on your 3dmark06 score. E.G. Total/SM2/SM3/CPU scores. Thanks
