Hi I have bought 2 seagate 500 - 32mb cache 7200's.
I am concerned that if i now install both that my comp will slow down considerably, I only need sort of 250GB max storage so 1 will suffice, but I heard having 2 can speed up stuff games and page file on one op system on 2nd. So now a dillemma any advice please.
I have a E8400 cpu
P35 DSR Motherboard
8800 GTS OC BFG Graphics card
620 watt Corsair PSU
2 X2GB OCZ PC 8500 10066

Your computer will not slow down because you installed 2 harddrives. Install your Operating system on one drive and your games on the other. You could also build a RAID array, but given your techical expertise and the general hassle RAID arrays can be, i suggest against that.

If you don't need the capacity you could sell the second drive too.

For gaming RAID is not a good idea... no matter what else. You can also buy an enclosure or something to turn the other drive into a back-up, external drive... as another option.
