Hi,

I have a standard windows 2003 network. Should the client Pc's have their windows xp firewall disabled (via Gpoup Policy).

I have seen a GPO in my work with no documentation - was wondering why somebody would to that?

Thanks in advance

We disable the windows firewall at work to. It can confilct with some network comunication. We disable it during PC imaging (disabled on individual PC's), not GPO.

It doesn't matter as there is a hardware firewall for the whole site anyway.
