New Rig - Upgrade thoughts?

So I thought that I had my entire rig all planned out. I was within budget and I had components that would work really well, if not setting any new benchmarks. However, I recently came into ~200 more bucks for my build and was wondering if you all had thoughts on which parts of my rig to upgrade. I've posted my thoughts below but would really appreciate comments/ideas from those of you with more experience and understanding. Thank you in advance.

Previous rig layout...
Case: Centurion 5
Power Supply: OCZ GameXStream 600W

Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
CPU: Core 2 Duo E6750
RAM: 2x1G Corsair XMS2 DDR2800

HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.10

OS: Vista 64bit Home Premium for System Builders

Upgrades (~$200 total)
CPU: Core 2 Quad Q6600 (add $80)

GPU: 8800 GTS 640MB (add $80)

RAM: 2x (2X1G DDR2800 RAM) (add $60)

More about upgrade thoughts
  1. all 3 upgrade are useless lol EXCEPT the third one

U have an E6750 which is 2.6 compared to Q6600 which is 2.4 , in %90 of the cases E6750 beats Q6600 , because there are still many apps which dont require 4 cores

    U have a 8800GTS 320 , in reslotutions lower than 1600x1200 , a 8800gts 320 is equal to a 8800gts 640 in most cases, even if u play @ 1600x1200 , a 8800gts 640 wont help , if u arent really satisfied go for a 8800GTX

U have 2GB DDR2 800 , many games and apps require no more than 2GB ram ,but if u arent satisfied this is a wiser upgrade than the others

U have an awesome system ,Keep it and dont upgrade if u ask me , is there any game/app that u have problem handling it ?
  2. Downgrade to XP =P

Then you can forget about needing any extra memory

C2d beats that Q6600 like Maziar said...

If anything get more HD space 320 seems low imo =P
  3. Thanks for the advice guys. It's always tempting to tweak a rig when the chance comes, but I hear you on the performance vs price/need Maziar.
  4. i had the change to upgrade my E6600 to Q6600 , but didnt , because it wasnt worth it , my cpu handles everything that i throw @ it with no probs
