Windows XP display settings keep changing

Hello,
When I open Roxio Creator 2010, my display settings immediately change to 640x480 which will not allow the pages to display properly. In any other program, they are correct at 1024x768. Any idea why they suddenly change and what is the answer? (I have only 512 RAM at present. Would this have any effect on display?)

512 ram is not enough in current trend..
in roxio they mentioned 512 as minimum.. so it need more to work better..
try it after updating you video card driver & directX
