hi all -- I was operating an nVidia RAID 1 using an Asus mb/nVidia 570 chipset with WD drives, and had the usual problems with the RAID constantly degrading (wd drive issue). Normally when this occurred I would rebuild and all would be good. The last time this occurred however, I had just imported several important photos onto the drive.

Soon after a reboot message showed degraded RAID and I proceeded to rebuild. This time however, the RAID rebuilt with the *older* drive image, and so I lost all the photos I had just imported.

My question -- is the *any* way to recover these? I did my best to have no additional files write to the drives, and have since replaced the RAID with with a RAID 5 on all new drives. I still have the two RAID one drives untouched, but have been unable to find the pics using recovery sw. I tried PhotoRec on both drives, and also ZAR before disabling the raid, but no luck. Any ideas??

I was able to recover most off the flash drives from the camera, but a few important photos had already been written over....
