I just put together the system listed below. I can boot into BIOS fine but I get an error when trying to install windows Xp Pro. The drive spins up fast then slows down quick when windows is copying files and then I get this error:
"STOP: c0000221 Unknown Hard Error \SystemRoot\System32\ntdll.dll"
What could be causing this?

What SP is the XP disc? You may need to slipstream SP3 in the disc. There's several things that can cause that error though. Since you're installing off the disc, the file likely isn't corrupted. Double check and make sure the disc isn't scratched or smudged.

Also a very good possibility :D

To go along with a scratched/smudged disc, some drives don't read the disc very well.
