Malwarebytes and peerguardian

Hello,
is it nessesary to run both malwarebytes and peerguardian or is it overkill as they both do the same job? TIA!

Peer Guardian is an IP blocker tool

Malwarebytes is a trojan/spyware/malware removal tool

having both is definitely not an overkill, in my point of view. (Provided if you are using paid versionof Malwarebytes)

Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware version 1.40 has an IP blocking module for paid customers. The IP blocking module enhances the Malwarebytes’ Anti-Malware protection module by tremendously improving protection

If you are using paid version of Malwarebytes, then you will get IP blocking option and Having paid version of Malwarebytes & Peer guardian is an overkill. not free version of Malwarebytes.
