More Information

Ok, so the other day I was trying to burn a CD with iTunes. There were too many songs, so I had to split the CD. The first CD burned fine, but when I switched to the second CD, iTunes would not display (I kept clicking on it on it but the window wouldn't show). Finally I quit the program, and decided to just burn a data CD. When I tried to send the files to my DVD burner (using the Send To option, or just dragging the folder) my drive wasn't showing up. Neither was my CD drive. So I rebooted the computer, and then they were displaying. I still couldn't burn a data CD. It just said "Windows is having touble copying the file." Asked me to Retry, Skip, or Cancel. The drive is reading discs but not burning them. Then when I try to import music from a CD or burn from iTunes, it stalls halfway through and then my drives disappear. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Any help is appreciated. I'm running Windows XP SP2.
