i want to upgrade my pc and i was wondering bout the cpu part.

what are the diffrences between E6750 and q6600?
i mean what are the advantages of quad? besides, "been able to rip burn and play games at the same time"

why should i buy q6600 go and not the normal dual e6750?

Start with these two threads and you should have a better than average understanding..

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/220455-28-single-core-dual-core-quad-core

and

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/217650-28-tech-debate-core-core-quad

If you have questions after reading those two threads and the linked docs please reply to one of the threads and I will help as much as I can.

This same thing is asked all the time and you will get a bunch of answers some good some bad...

I prefer to give answers in the form of information so you can make up your own mind.

Happy reading!!

Hope this helps!!

They are both broken. I'm sure he will fix them.

IMO get the Q6600 and P35 mobo and OC it to 3G/1333FSB. Even if you don't want to OC, do it anyway it's a "free" OC no voltage increase needed.

Hey guys....

Sorry it seems that toms right now does not like to link to its own internal links. Go figure.

So if you highlight the above text and put it into your browser it should take you to the correct pages...

Sorry for the inconvenience.
