both sites now have the correct system requirements
god I need a new rig. I'm barely ahead of the minimum requirements. Although I knew that from the start considering I have a x700 pro (OC'ed to XT) and a 3.2 prescott....Although I have 3.2 gigs of ram (4x1 gb sticks on xp 32 bit). But overall that chart is basically just scaling to their minimum and recommended requirements. Doesn't really benchmark the system I believe...so it's probably not going to be very accurate. When the game is released we'll know how "playable" crysis is....
bah...I need cash...lol
Bah i didn't even get it so start here at work on this old P2 233MHz/256MB IBM with onboard graphics. =)

Mine was just between minimum and recommended, so I'll get a mild slide show now and then on medium/minimum settings
System requirement labs thinks an hd2900 is slower than an 8800gts... for *SHAME*.
The Game-O-Meter wasn't to happy with my girlfriends x1950pro 256meg.
I will never let a website scan my computer for any reason, I don't care if God himself want to scan my system! Next month I'll have my 8800 GTX, I don't expect to be able to run everything at max.
systemlord
well i dont think god would bother scanning your system cause he knows what you have and hes computer is real fast hes already got the 9800gtx ultras x 3
but hes still waiting for updated drivers. lol
Maziar
Game-o-Meter Result:
You're set! Your machine's built for speed and can handle the minimum requirements!
Your processor is significantly more powerful in raw performance
Your display card is significantly more powerful in raw performance
minimum !!!! im about 7 bars from the far right
damn f@#$r's!!!!
I don't think I'll be able to play this game but I still keep my hopesup. They said (developers and websites) that I would be able to play lost planet or Bioshock but i did with descent frames and close to high settings (low res though).
Those automatic scanning programs rarely work... heck, I got a message purchasing The Orange Box on Steam about whether or not I wanted to continue because my processor was below the "requirements"... the program not realizing that an Athlon X2 at 1.9GHz (had it running at stock for once... normally it's around 2.4) is faster than a Pentium 4 at 2.0... *rolls eyes*
Just tested my rig under yougamers and it says my cpu is slightly less powerful in raw performance.
Yougamers recommend the following upgrades: A Dell XPS 710 H2C! lol
A $275 cpu (2 years ago) and now they want me to upgrade
to a $7000 system? WTH?!!

If her computer has a problem then we can discuss what she will do for me so that I will fix it. ![]()
Edit: Get your mind out of the gutter, I was talking about dinner or something like that.
Puts my 7950gx2 near the top of the chart, could go up 7bars. Sais it reccomends a 8800gts because its slightly more powerful, although im pretty sure my 3ghz quad will easily make up for that.
hopefully mine is like this :
"well i dont think god would bother scanning your system cause he knows what you have and hes computer is real fast hes already got the 9800gtx ultras x 3 but hes still waiting for updated drivers."
That made my day, thanks sirkillalot
I think the devil is working at ATI/AMD/nVidia. He's the one holding the drivers back. Think he's been taking out the engineers out for lunch to Hooters or something and putting things in their drinks, so they don't feel too good and want to go home early, thus not getting the full 8 hrs. of work out of them.
Yeah, I tested my computer for Crysis, and It doesn't quite register everything right. It says that my X1950pro only has 256 megs, that's half true, I have two in crossfire. The test didn't recognize the crossfire cards.

Crossfire does not mean 2x the ram
256mb = 256mb
single card or Crossfire
Im with systemlord im not about to let some website poke about in my system i am quite happy to wait untill its installed on my pc to find out how it runs.
Mactronix
What the..?
Quote : PASS, but the Speed could NOT be analyzed.
What does that mean?
Video card fails
320MB

If you use the first link it doesn't need any instillations and is completely safe, I'm not installing the program on the 2nd link.

Carefully analyzing the picture, it looks like your computer still needs dusting to be free of cobwebs and household dust. Doing this will give you a pass on the recomended settings.
Also, using some polish on the front bezel to give it a nice silvery shine will put you right at the top. But before polishing it, paint it a nice glossy silver.
No way am I installing the bloated Sun JVM for any website.
Both my cpu and gpu are too slow. Ah well, next year ill buy myself a nice quad core or something, with .. of course.. a midrange gpu..
WOOOOOOO!!! I made it! I can play crysis! lol. Will the system pass one of those cheap video cards that has 512 or more memory? It's got 512, it must go fast!!!
Well I'm sure my system is above minimum, but below recommended because of my X1900XT 512MB.
I hit everything on recommended except for the graphics, the 7900GS in the system currently can't handle recommended, but the 8800GTX on order will. muahahahaha.
Hatman wrote : If you use the first link it doesn't need any instillations and is completely safe, I'm not installing the program on the 2nd link.
Oh yea so why is it asking for instalation rights on my security settings then?
Mactronix
I used the first link and just had to install a Java app....so Hatman is wrong. You do have to install something.
My machine was nearly that, though my 8800 GTS 640 is only listed as adequate, so the bar was slighty lower. Oh well, at least its able to run.
After I ran this, a crevasse formed between myself and my computer, probably about 2 feet wide. Just enough to catch my attention.
Then my computer gave me an error message (*The following web site http://www.yougamers.com/gameometer/10213/ has hurt my feelings, windows will now shut down until I feel like starting back up*)
Um.. for I am 1 bar away from recommended - only 1.5 gig of memory... with an 8600gt 256mb card =P

I guess what I meant to say is that the gameometer doesn't register my crossfire set up. However, when the crossfire is activated, I do have a total of 512 mb of framebuffer memory between the two cards.

No no, if you have two graphics cards in SLI or Cross Fire and both cards have 256MB of Vram you can't say you now have a 512MB frame buffer it don't work like that. Each card renders one half of the screen at 256MB and the other half at 256MB, you still have a 256MB framebuffer with both cards. Graphics cards don't run in dual channel mode, but they do work together.
Already knew I could play Crysis.
Haven't you guys played the beta? I've played it and on my main computer is running pretty decent on medium that's on a athlon x2 5200+, an ati radeon x1950xt and 2gb of a-data vitesta ram.
It runs like absolute rubbish on low on my 3700 (at 2.6) x1950 pro system with 2gb RAM. That's at any resolution, even 640x480. 15-25fps average outside. In a gunfight I can get below 15.

mm.. well it didnt install anything on mine.

OUCH!!!
I'm betting than my AMD 3200+ w/x1800xt 256mb would be an absolute slide show

Well let's put things into perspective here. My dad has 4gb RAM and vista x64. He has an E6600 @2.7 (I think) and an x800GTO overclocked to something that I don't remember. He get's consistantly better framerates than me (I'd say he gets 20fps min and averages around 35) on low settings with a higher resolution even. He just get's graphical anomolies coz the beta doesn't support SM2 cards, like cloaked guys turn white and appear through walls and terrain, and you can see them across the whole map. It's an unintentional cheat
Thus the faster frames, because no detail is used on the character. Use that on him, the next time he says he's got a better rig!!! Hehehehehe
STEMNIN wrote : lol, think or know?
I tested my system and its quite a bit above the Recommended.
And by the way I have a HD2900Pro 1GB GDDR4 running the Catalyst 7.10 drivers and in 3DMark05 beat a system thats the same as mine only it has a 8800GTS 640 by about 3k.
So yea the HD2900Pro is a good card and the drivers are just now unleashing its potential.
And God has something way better than a 9800xt x3 in SLI. He has a 28000 x8 in SLI 2.0 all running on PCIe 4.0. Not to mention his 32 core CPU running at 5GHz each and 32Gigs of dual channel DDR6 and 50terabytes in a SATA5 RAID0.
Man I envy God.

It's not the point though, I should still get at least 25fps min at 1024x768 on low, gee.
I'm pretty happy with my results. Yes folks, this is an AMD system. = P

nice score
I think dual core is a must have for crysis that's how i explain the poor performance you got.
here is what I got:
"Game-o-Meter Result:
Either your hardware is too new, too old or too rare - we don't know enough of it to give an accurate estimation. Sorry. "
