Hy everyone! I plan to upgrade my system, I wan't to buy Gainward 7800GS Golden Sample graphic card... BUT? I have problem!

My PSU is Eurocase 350W, and has only 14A on +12V! AND I know that it won't be enough for my pc to run normal! :(

I think to buy Chieftek GPS-450AA-101 A, which has 450W? Would this PSU be enough for my configuration? It also has +12V1=14A, and +12V2 =15A total=29A!!!

My PC: Pentium D 2.66 Ghz, 2x512MB DDR 400, 2xHDD, cd-rw, dvd-rw, and I will buy a new 7800GS!

Thank in advance! :hello:

But, I can't find Antec! Would this Chieftec do the job with my configuration and with Gainward 7800 GS? Please help!

The Chieftec would be OK spec wise, but would be a problem in the quality department. A better choice would be a Corsair 450VX.

Chieftec does make good cases though.

You should replace the Chieftec anyway. the Corsairs are single rail even though they don't say it. Single rail is better.

Yes, Chieftec has two rails +12V! And total of 29A on +12V! But, what about Chieftec vs LC Power? I can buy Chieftec 450, but on other side I can buy LC Power Silent 420W?!!?

Who is the better? What is the better buy?

P.S. Only thing I don'T know about LC POWER is how many +12V rail it has, and what is total amperage for its rails? Chieftec has 2 rail +12V rails with total amperage of 29A? This is very important for grafic card!

Thanks

the psu has 14a on one +12v rail and 15a on the 2nd +12v rail. it do sent add up to 29a im not shure what it adds up but you don't add the amps on the +12v rails. It is always less, probably something like 25ish amps on the Chieftec.
