Well, whoever posted the news item on here didn't bother reading through Plextor's website carefully...

The reason the PX-B920SA will be $600 and the PX-B300SA will be $500 is because the B300SA doesn't record Blu-Ray...

Saying that, I suspect that these may be the last quality drives that support HD-DVD and Blu-Ray... Plextor must be a bit pissed about the HD-DVD announcement... I can just hear their management saying, "couldn't they have waited until June?!?!!??""

I figure the B920SA will come down in price rapidly, and will make a pretty good upgrade around Christmas time, which should be about as early as I really want a Blu-Ray recorder...
