Hey,

I´ve got a really odd problem. Im using the LAN-port on my motherboard Gigabyte P35-DS3 to connect to my D-link DGL-4300 router that is connected to my D-link DSL-320T ADSL-modem

This setup has worked 100% since I set it up last year, but a couple of days ago the connection between my motherboard LAN-port and my router LAN-port stopped working. No lights blinked on either router or motherboard LAN-port. I then tried connecting the modem to the motherboard LAN-port, trying to figure out if my router had passed away or not. It worked like a charm, so I went to the store and picked up a new router, a D-link DIR-655

When connection my motherboard LAN-port to my new routers LAN-port, I get the same result as with my old one, no blinking lights on either end and no connection! Switching back to motherboard LAN-port connected to modem still works, and Im getting really confused about what the real problem is.

If anyone has a clue how to solve this, please help! =P

What happens if you change the network cable?

Try different ports on the Router's LAN switch.

It might be sharing with the WAN.
