Vista doesn\'t recognize my external USB drive

I get the prompt: "no one touch drives were found" when I try to access my Maxtor external drive. I purchased it prior to having Windows Vista.

How are you trying to access it, through the My Computer drive letter or a program? Have you looked online for any drivers for software for the drive?
