Please help my overclocking

I have a stable 2.8 Ghz overclock on my e2180 CPU, and my temps at load are only 45C. Also my CPU voltage is under stock! Given this, I thought I should easily overclock to 3 Ghz and bump up my Oblivion FPS a little.

However, once I bump up the FSB to 300, I can't boot up!

Here are my settings for the non-working 3 Ghz:

^^^^^^^^^^^^Also as you can see, I bumped my voltage up quite a bit higher than stock-and way more than my stable 2.8 Ghz overclock!

For reference:

1) Settings for stable 2.8 Ghz overclock:

^^^^^^^^NOTE lower than default Vcore :)

2) My pertaining specs:

CPU-Intel E2180
Motherboard-Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L
RAM-OCZ Platinum Revision 2 (Note on the specs of that RAM timings can be 4-4-4-15; I even lowered it to 5-5-5-15 trying to get my CPU to overclock!)
HSF-Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

I'm no overclocking wizard so correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd presume if the voltage aint right it's not gonna have the juice to boot.

Well think it this way: Intel stock voltage is wayyy too high. You caould probably run stock speeds at 1.2V.

As you go higher and higher, much more voltage is required. To top that off, I heard the E2180 isn't a good overclocker compared to the other E2xxxs.

Okay-so you do actually increase quite a bit for each bit of FSB you increase? I just didn't want to fry my CPU!

I actually see on reviews that the e2180 is the best overclocker-with most people easily reaching 3.2-3.4 Ghz...

But thanks for your help-and if anyone else has suggestions I'm keeping my eye on this thread and would greatly appreciate it.

Update: Grr-no matter what I do, I can't get to POST at 300 FSB... What can I do?! My temps are more than fine-I really should be able to get 300 FSB; I must be doing something wrong.
