I just upgrded my computer with a GA-P35-DS3L mobo, an E8400 Processor, Crucial Ballistix Tracers 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 and I mainly use my computer for gaming and I dont use that much of my storage. However I have had the same 250 gig hard drive for about 4-5 years with old IDE cables. Now I'm looking for a kick ass SATA Hard Drive. Any Suggestions? There are so many I dont know where to start. Something reliable for XP and Vista preferrably 500 gigs for around $100.
So far i've seen a Western Digital 640 gig for $129.99 > marked down to $119 free shipping with newegg promo in email.

Or should I try the Seagate 7200.11? I heard this was fast as a Ratpor but the reviews are so shady. If so do you have a link to one that is reliable?
Thanks any feedback would help me a lot. So far these forums have helped me substantially...I built my system from the ground up with everyones help here its been great.
