My cursor keeps rapidly flashing between the normal pointer and the hour glass. I have uninstall and reinstalled the drivers/software a bunch, but I still have the problem. The flashing happens both when I use USB and PS/2 port. This is under windows 98. All my drivers are current. Athlon XP, Epox 8K7A. I tried another identical mouse, same problem. This started only since I upgraded my motherboard, ram, HD, and processor. Any adivce please?

if that doesnt work you must have some program that is running, close all programs in the control alt delete window exept explorer and systray one by one untill you find the culprit.

how do you shoot the devil in the back? what happens if you miss? -verbal
