Hi Everyone,

Im purchasing a new HD. I am not looking for a large HD seeing that I do not store a lot of files. I think 250GB is the least I will buy.

Do you recommend SATA2 over SATA HDs? If so, Which SATA2 HD do you recommend?

Thanks in advance,

Well, if you need help getting rid of money, you could send it to me

Anyway, I just bought a 250GB SATA. If you mean SATA300 vs SATA150, I'd go with 300 with a 16MB cache. Here is the one I bought:

Good Brand. Great Price. What more could you want? :D

This one is a little bigger and more expensive, hoever it is the new model and may be worth the price:

Glad to help. Other brand to consider are WD and Samsung. I prefer to stick with WD and Seagate because I don't consider Samsung a HD manufacturer, but I have heard some good things about them.

As for WD vs Seagate, I have alternated between the two. Recently WD has gotten some bad comments about reliability, though I cannot confirm this. At any rate, I imagine you'd be quite happy with either of the above or the WD versions of the same. Enjoy!
