oc 7950gt problem

hey,
I have an EVGA 7950gt that won't overclock any more than 15mz on the gpu and 30mhz on the memory, is this the max this card will do? I tried using NTUNE ATI Tool and Riva tuner, What am I doing wrong.

From what little information I've been able to gather from Google, looks like your card came factory overclocked already. Maybe you've reached the limits of the card with your current setup.

I have a XFX 7950gt and I currently am running it at 640/745 but can reach 650/760 (albeit temps get a little too high for my taste), my card has stock cooling, no voltage mod or bios edit, everything at stock

GPU-Z just in case, though it's not an unbelivable overclock

I'd recommend the following, remove the HSF and apply artic silver 5, remember to screw tightly (but with caution), update your drivers, clear the air path to the vga inside your case, check if PSU is enough.

SirCrono what program do you use to overclock. I couldn't dream of getting anywhere close to your overclock. If i put my gpu clock over 600 it freezes my computer.

how do you know if the psu is too small? would that cause problems for ocing?
