Hey guys, quick question.

I'm putting together an older PC for someone from basically spare parts. I'm looking to see if I can get a DVD Burner in it but it's a Pentium 133 with 128 MB of RAM. Any recommendations of a drive that will work for such low specs? Also kinda curious as to whether or not watching a DVD movie would be possible on this machine as well. Thanks for any input.

Should be able to use any basic IDE type DVD burner, as long as there's enough power to spin the thing and fire up the laser.

I don't think that's going to be a happy machine with even a basic build of XP though, better be ubuntu...and then it's still gonna underperform with that much setup.

Anybody know of dvd burner drivers for Win98 SE?
