I tried to calibrate temperatures for the tools following the sticky temperature guide.

I ran into couple problems.

i) I tried to lower the FSB to 200 in bios but it won't boot at that setting with 8x multipler and FSB:MEM - 1:1
in Linked mode. CPU thermal control enabled, speedstep disabled, C1E disabled. CPU core 1.25V

ii) I tried to find the EAX field for the TJunction but it is all zeros with the latest CPUID.

Thanks in advance.

uhhh... lower your multiplier? if i remember right the guide says to run 1.6ghz to get as close to ambient as possible, it doesn't say you can't use a lower multiplier.

as for the second problem... I have version 4.14.2.404 for my q6600 and 64bit OS and it works fine... not sure what the problem is there.

ah, I thought the multiplier is fixed on most chips except the extremes. I didn't think of it able to change(being the first time, I try not to change anything I don't suppose to :)
