After using scsi for the main storage subsystem, I am finally trying to break in into solid state
storage medium...with Gigabyte's I-Ram2 no where on the horizon, I'm considering using the current version of I-Ram which holds only maximum 4 gig of ram. My question to this forum, before I went ahead with the I-Ram purchase is; HAS ANYONE USED 2 GIG DIMMS on I-Ram, totaling the memory to 8 gigabyte???If yes is the answer then what brand of dimms, and any stability issues encountered???
Your help in this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Ehh, I wouldnt bother with that just yet, I would personally wait for SSD drives to become cheaper. Reason being is those require the older more expensive DDR (Note NOT DD2) modules. Also about your question, I would say that it would not work considering the highest recommended memory from the manual is only 1GB.
