Alright im using a P5K deluxe board to overclock my Q6600 and E6600. Whenever i push either cpu to high prime95 gets this weird FATAL ERROR: Rounding to 0.4 something. I have never experienced this when overclocking on any other board. I have overclocked both cpu's in a Gigabyte P35-DS3R, Abit Ip-35 pro and this board. Both other boards would simply crash when the overclock was too high. This board causes prime95 to get a fatal error. The reason why im worried is my Q6600 started messing up as i had it oced in that board. At 3.6 ghz prime95 was stable. At 3.8 it got the fatal error issue no matter what voltage i used. As time progressed my computer started to stop booting up when i booted cold. Eventually my computer wouldnt boot up at all. I had already decreased my oc back to 2.4 when it completely hosed up. Now my E6600 is getting the Fatal error although not the cold boot issue. Please respond.. do i have a bad board?

Maybe try loosen up your memory timing or switching to another set of memory? I have the P5K-E and I ran the test w/ my Q6600 @ 3.0Mhz w/ ram set 1, fatal error like yours. Same setting but switched to ram set 2, no problem thereafter. Good luck.

Did you make sure your temps were under control while you were benching? Try clearing the cmos, setting everything to default and boot at stock speed. I would also recomend loosening the ram timings while trouble shooting the cpu and mobo.
