No. But also HD-DVD.

The real issue is if the attempt to reconcile into one format results in
delay for issuing anything of use.

People will pay, if they can record, 100 shows or more (which should be
easy).

If enough people buy the hardware, the discs will go down in price
quickly. Anyone remember paying $15 for dvd-r. I just bought a pack
of 50 for $17.

$1500 VCRs consumed $25 tapes when VCRs were first released. There has
been a great deal of inflation since then.

in japan there are several models bout 600? each BlueRays with HD even .....
always wodnered where in the hell they do find blanks.........and yes if
they can write rewritable
