I am getting a 2900 PRO, somebody said I could use a 8pin PCIe connector with a 6pin connector. What is the 6pin connector? I mean my PSU seems only have one PCIe connector, and no 6pin. Any idea?

If you need a 6 pin you can buy an adapter that takes 2x 4 pins and makes 1x 6pin:

If you need a 8-pin you can get this:

What PSU do you have? With the 2900Pro you need to check the available amps on the +12 volt rail. The 2900Pro wants 1x8 pin and 1x6pin but it can run on 2x 6pin PCI-e connectors.

Thanks! You guys really cleared things up:)

What if I use a cheap CoolerMaster Unit 600 Watts eXtreme Power and a 6pin to 8pin converter? Will that be enough for one 2900pro?
