I've decided I dont want to use that as I was planning to realizing it takes up like 50 motherboard slots with a fan on it.

Are there any others? It needs to be air cooled and take 3slots at max.

I don't think there are any other air coolers for it, same goes for the 8800 series cards. For some reason aftermarket cooling for those cards hasn't really taken off. In my opinion if you can't/don't want to get it, then your only other option is liquid cooling.

Knowing your intentions (At least partially I believe, Pro 1GB Oc beyond XT on 1920x1200), I think another option you haven't considered is a 2900XT 512MB or GTS 640.

Im planning on OC'ing the 2900pro 1gb to past XT levels if I can, not much past, just enough to say its better :D

Shame there isnt, I've been looking around I cant find any others though.. that one takes up soooo much space...

Well if you are lucky enough with stock cooling a HD 2900XT can hit maybe 850/1000? Not too familiar with XT overclocking success. This option might be even slightly cheaper than getting a HD 2900 Pro 1GB + HR-03 and you'll get better results.

I have my pro oc'd past xt speeds on stock cooling and it never gets too hot, 70c under load. the only reason I could see getting an after market cooler is to make the card quieter.

Indeed taht is one of the things I want. Need it cooler and quieter.

It seems there are 2 ways of installing it, one so that it takes up tons of space,, and one so that either side of that cooler wraps around the 2900xt, if it can install it the 2nd way I mentioned with a fan, that will do.

Im going to get a ruler and do some calcs and draw it out, just to see how much space itll take up.

I got cmstacker830 so I dont think its not going to fit in there, may not with the side door fans in place though.
