corrupt BIOS

I did not know exactly what happened or how, but my the system tries to start up and it goes into a "loop" of restarting after the XP logo window popped up. I have AMI bios and i need some help in flashing my BIOS, any help appriciated.

You'll have to get the BIOS from the mobo website or the computers website if prebuilt. The website should have instructions on updating the BIOS. Before updating the BIOS try clearing the CMOS, instructions will be in the mobo or computer manual. You could also try a Windows Repair off the CD. What makes you think it's a BIOS problem?

If you can see the OS boot up, then it most likely is not your bios. So your windows is restarting by itself? Tab F8 at boot, select "disable auto. restart..."

I tried what you said akhilles, and after windows was done loading this message came up:
stop: c000021a{fatal system error}
the session manager inizialization system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of (0x00000000 0x00000000)
the system has been shut down.
