This may sound like a stupid question - even though people say that no questions are stupid... just stupid people that don't ask the questions. Ok here it goes.

I need to get a very reliable, good performing, stable etc. motherboard for an amd processor.... please specify what is the best processor to get as well.... i am trying to be under the $200 for both

If your buying a new mobo and CPU, then you should get AM2, which will mean you'll have to get new RAM as well unless you currently have DDR2 on your existing system. What is your current system?
