Tech Investors ....Is it time to buy AMD?

I hate to ask but:

Advanced Micro Devices Inc sets a new 52-week low 09:44 a.m. 01/04/2008 Provided By Wall Street On Demand

Advanced Micro Devices Inc crossed below its 52-week low of $6.75 on 9:40 AM ET on January 04, 2008.

This gets me thinking, is this the bottom? Would you buy now? I'm tempted to wade in, anyone else?

I would still wait....it still might going to go lower.

The other day Intel got a pretty big hit from an announcement about a drop of computer sales in Europe and I'm sure that didn't play well to AMD either. Also Intel's getting ready to launch Penryn which could also cause a drop.

I honestly dont know how much lower AMD can go without getting bought out. I think the current value of the company is less than they actually paid for ATI.
