This is a really odd situation. I used to own this computer and when you "Shut Down" (not standby) the computer, everything is off.

But recently I handed the PC off to my bro and the only difference is that he now has an Nvidia FX 5200 instead of an ATI Radeon 9200 and a different 80 GB S-ATA.

When he turns off the computer, the case and CPU fan continue spinning. How come and how can I fix this as it makes a lot of noise.

Thanks

he can't have broken it because I installed it xD.

I dont think I broke anything because I just gently inserted it without touching any other parts. I also grounded myself.

some psus have that functions. does the fans runs for few minutes and shuts down it self?? that is because the psu, that function is to cool down your parts
