I just overclocked my Q6600 to 3.0 Ghz (1333FSB)... on an ASUS P5K Deluxe motherboard...During the Prime95 (v25.5) test the Temperature went as high as 61 C, but through out the test it stays around 55C..
I'm using Zalman CNPS 9700NT as my cooler...
My Idle temp is 45c...
Before overclocking (@2.4GHZ) It was 32c Idle & 45c load..
Is 61c / 140F (@ 100% load) too high or acceptable for Q6600 (@ 3.0ghz) ????
