Hey Guys, frist great forum here, have read alot of good thread.

I funde a thread with the same need as i had (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/245599-13-system-bu...) and the good replay from aevm there hit alot of my Q's i had.

So i will get.
Core 2 quad q6600 CPU
8800 GTS 320
DDR2-800 2G
WD-Raptor 36G - just for system
WD Caviar SE16 WD5000AAKS 500G - for all the rest
I like to use my old DVD, is on IDE. don't see a need to update it, if i don't have to.

So the there is just the motherboard left, i havde been looking at, MSI P35 Platinum, MSI P35 Platinum Combo, that got a good review from TOM's .com but i read that some times bios update F it up. (mabye just bad luck for them) anyway have also been looking at ASUS P5K, GIGABYTE P35 DS3R or ABIT IP35 PRO.

Is really hard to see on the specs if they fits with what i want hope you can help me?

I dont think i will OC, and i use my PC for work and Gameing, i use Adobe - photoshop, Premiere, Flash alot.

Try these, in this order:
GA-P35-DS3L, GA-P35-DS3R, aBit IP35 Pro, Asus P5K, MSI P35 Platinum.

Get the first one that has all the features you need. For example if you want RAID skip the DS3L, if you want Firewire skip the DS3R too, etc.

I just built the system your talking about a C2Quad on a P5K-vanilla has the best price for option's on the MB's at the moment and the Gigabyte isint bad on there P-35 3series MB's and they have 2or 3 I think. These MB's will allowe you to OverClock a copple Gig of Crucial Ballistic pc-6400 that will do up to 1000 with resetting the timing's. Mine are runniig at almost 900 at the lower 4,4,4,12 settings' on my new P5K from Asus. BA
