Hello --

I would like to purchase a replacement for the Intel stock fan/heatsink
on my abit IP 35 Pro.

I know there are a jillion fans out there, and I know some won't work on all
boards because of what I understand are passive cooling solutions (pipes)
present on the underside of some motherboards.

Can you please suggest for me a reasonably priced ($30-$60) air fan and heatsink
for my IP 35 Pro CPU? I am using Q6600.

Thanks !!!

I have a Tuniq Tower 120 on my IP35 PRO on a Q6600 in an Antec 900 case. I have the Q6600 moderately OC'd to 3 Ghz and it is very cool. Currently 34 C on all cores. If your case is big enough, the Tower is excellent. Keep in mind that the really good air cooling rigs are HUGE, but they work well though.

I have an artic cooling freezer 7 pro on mine in an antec 900 case. I use a e6850 with no OC and I idle around 15-20 C
