Hi all n thanks for any input.
I've been reading the threads posted of late as i want to buy either a new GPU or CPU and was wondering which is my best option?
I'm currently running an E6400 OC'ed to 3gig with a Galaxy Geforce 7900gs mildly OC'ed on a Gigabyte DS3 965P with 2 gig of ram.
At this time of year do i go for an ATI 2900 pro as i can't afford an 8800gts 640 meg (which i'd like) to boost my Crysis gaming or stick with my GPU and get a 6600 quad core and get the GPU next year?
What's the best step first in your opinion? I'm asking as i want to do these two things in the right order as like most of us finances are the restriction but quality gaming is my aim.
My only reservation about the 2900 pro is it doesn't sound as user friendly as the Nvidea 8800 series and my only concern about getting the 6600 over something like an E6850 is the heat issue if i overclock as i'm currently living in Thailand where you can add ten degrees before you even start to OC.
Thoughts please.
Cheers,
Marcus.
