Sound Question

Today I set up my new computer. For sound I use a Samsung surround sound system and run the reciever through the video card - or I did on my last computer anyway. I just ran a single cable (double sided headphone jack type of cable) from reciever to my old motherboard. The new motherboard is a DS3-P35 and has seperate jacks for "sub" "rear" ect.. I'm trying to get the sound to work but having trouble. Can someone please guide me?

Use the light green output jack, and set you're PC's sound settings to 2 channel stereo.

Surround processing is done by the receiver in a case like this, not the PC.
